I would of loved some of the dessert, however, the waitress just brought me the bill and never asked must of thought I could do without it. So, I did. Everything else was outstanding. I will do my stop everytime I can.
Great diner spot for anyone traveling through Southwest Kansas. We hot breakfast. It's a big place - we got immediate seating at the long wrapped bar despite a line outside. Waitress, Kim, took great care of us. Desert pies are literally cooked inside a bowl - looks like a sweet pot pie. I didn't get dessert because I was so full from the breakfast burrito, but it looked really good. I probably drank 4 cups of coffee.
Very Beautiful and Kim our server is very friendly and caring! For the price that you're paying for your food you sure do get your money's worth! I got the cinnamon roll French toast and its was so amazing! I'm gonna tell my friends and family to come here for sure! 10/10
My husband and I came on a Sunday for lunch so the place was hopping and a bit loud. Kim was our server at the bar/counter and she was efficient and prompt. Never had to ask for much because she was on top of it. My husband and I both ordered the Parmesan Sourdough Cheeseburger and they came out hot, melty and crispy. Big portions so bring your appetite or get a box. We will certainly be back to try other items they offer on the extensive menu.
Everything was great. Kimberly M done a great job. Seemed like she was doing 2-3 times more than any other waitress there. Perfect example of old school versus new school. These little girls don’t have a clue if it doesn’t involve there phone. Kimberly is twice there age and 10times a better waitress than any 3 of them. Open your eyes Black Bear spend the time on knowing and learning your employees before your customers do. At the end of the day everything was great because of her (Kimberly M) thanks for what you do!!!!!
Great spot. Was seated quickly, and service was friendly and quick. Even for the little portion of pot roast, it was plenty of food, quick to come out, and seasoned well. Perfect finish was their coconut cream pie. I'll definitely be back again.
As a truck driver I'm around the country alot. This is one of the best Black Bear Diners I've been to. Great service, huge portions and clean and maintained well. Glad it's my hometown restaurant too!
We were a group of 12 guests, mostly kids. The staff were all great. Our waitress, I forgot her name, she was a lovely girl. She patiently took our order and was attentive. The place and the atmosphere were great. We all loved our meal and drinks. The one thing I always check is the bathrooms, they were clean! I was very pleased with it all.
